“The Small and Mighty Real Estate Investor” presented by Chad “Coach” Carson

You don’t need a huge portfolio of properties to become financially free. Learn a different approach to real estate investing that avoids chasing more doors and focuses on creating a better life with a wealth of time and options while still having plenty of money. Investor, author, and former GaREIA member Chad Carson will share his personal real estate journey and then show you how to calculate your financial freedom number, including how many properties you need. He’ll also give you detailed case studies of exactly how everyday investors built enough wealth to get out of the financial grind and spend more time doing what matters.  

Chad “Coach” Carson began investing in real estate at 23 years old, soon after ending his career as a college football linebacker at Clemson University. After initially flipping houses and surviving the 2009 financial crisis, he transitioned to long-term income properties which made him financially independent in his 30s. 

Now at 43 years old, Chad works less than 2 hours per week on his real estate. He’s used the time and freedom to live abroad for over a year with his wife and 2 kids in both Spain and Ecuador. Chad is on a mission to help small investors get out of the financial grind like he did so they can do more of what matters. He publishes a weekly podcast, Real Estate Investing with Coach Carson, and he wrote a new BiggerPockets book called The Small and Mighty Real Estate Investor – How to Reach Financial Freedom With Fewer Rental Properties.
