Our Guest Speaker for June 10 is David Basil who owns Basil Law Group that invests in tax deeds, tax liens in West Georgia.

Basil Law Group is a full service real estate litigation practice specializing in tax sales and tax deeds and helping their clients realize the greatest potential for their tax properties. They have significant experience with tax deeds, tax sale litigation, tax deed barments, quiet title actions, foreclosure actions. They regularly file quiet title actions, cure title defects, determine heirship to property, reform deeds, and other forms of equitable relief such as declaratory judgments and injunctions to protect the enforceability of ownership interests and security deeds.

Scott Miller is currently a buy-and-hold investor with properties in the South Cobb area (Austell, Mableton, and unincorporated Smyrna). He started in the real estate business in the mid-1990s in intown rentals (i.e., low-rent landlord). Scott enjoys discussing investment real estate and attending GaREIA functions, and meeting other investors who invest in the Metro Atlanta area.
